Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge for an annual cleaning?

There is no set fee, we charge by time and material for all cleanings.

How long do annual cleanings typically take?

Normally, an annual cleaning will last anywhere between 1-2 hours. This sometimes changes if something wrong is found with the unit. In that case, the tech will contact you to go over their findings and get approval from you to fix the issue.

How often should I have my furnace cleaned?

To keep things running smoothly, we recommend having your funace cleaned at least once a year. A lot can build up over the course of 12 months and its better to address the issues that may pop up before the snow flies. An annual cleaning also ensures you get the best performance out of your unit.

How can I pay my bill?

You can send a check to PO Box 114, South China ME 04358. Or you can call (207) 445-4092 and pay via Visa or Mastercard.

Why has my appointment been rescheduled?

With HVAC and plumbing, sometimes previously unknown issues can arise, forcing some appointments to run later than anticipated and overlap with others. There are also days where we are inundated emergency calls, so if your appointment is non-emergent, it will unfortunately be pushed back. We actively avoid schedule conflicts such as these, however they do happen from time to time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I am interested in doing work with you and would like to talk about a bid. Who should I contact?

Please call the office at (207) 445-4092 or email with any information.

I would like an estimate for my home. Who do I talk to?

You can call the office at (207) 445-4092 and ask to speak with Ed Curtis for residential estimates.

What is a maintenance contract?

We have maintenance contracts with several commercial entities to help keep HVAC maintenance off their minds. You can select to have HVAC maintenance performed automatically 2 or 4 times per year. We would add you to our maintenance schedule and we would dispatch a tech to clean and check up on the units in your buildings. Our goal is to keep things running smoothly and efficiently for you.

Who do I talk to about getting a maintenance contract?

You can call the office at (207) 445-4092 and ask to speak to Ed Curtis for information about maintenance contracts.
